中途半端な文法

Welcome to half-assed grammar study only @ 男らしい! This time, I'd like to start off halfway through my grammar book, with a review of a few terms for the N1 level of the JLPT. The info will be short and sweet, and if you, dear readers, think ya have something to contribute or find an error, please be sure to comment. So, without any further adieu, I give you, 中途半端な文法:

1.~に即して・~に即した: Based on ~; in line with ~; in accordance with ~
例文: 試験の中の不正行為は、校側に即して処理する。
*notes: Denotes adherence to facts, standards to express conformance to certain criteria.

2.~ごとく・ごとき・ごとし: Like; as; looks like ~
例文1: 天使のごとき寝顔
A sleeping face (??) like an angel.
例文2: 光陰矢のごとし  (ことわざ)
Time flies.
例文3: 村全体が眠っているかのごとく静かだった。
The entire village was quite, as if it were sleeping.
*notes: Forms are as follows
       ごとく: adverbial form
      ごとき: noun-modifying form
      ごとし: sentence final form

3.~いかんで・いかんでは・いかんによって・いかんだ 
Based on; depends on; corresponds to~
     ~いかんによらず・いかんにかかわらず 
Regardless of~ ; no matter what the reason~
例文1: この商談は相手の決断いかんで決まる。
The business talks will be decided based on our partner's determination.
例文2: 結果が分かったら、合否のいかんにかかわらず、連絡してくれ。
When you know the results, contact me -- regardless of whether you passed or failed.
*notes: Classic form of どのように ⇒ いかに

Thanks for these posts,I've found them very useful.
For the benefit of others who follow this blog and study your examples, as I do, I wanted to point out one mistake that I noticed in the first example: 校側 should be 校則
