Here are a couple of words relevant to the global financial crisis that, what with friends getting the クビ and drunken 官僚 attending G-7 meetings, I'm sure will be much in use. A short paragraph below uses them in context.

大恐慌の恐れがあるよ。少なからずある友人がクビになった。
株が上がったり、下がったりしている。幸いなことに、投資もほとんどない。
僕にはまだ影響されてないけど、色んな新聞社がつぶれつつある。
なんだか心配ですね。しかも、僕の会社で新聞の部数がますます減ってきているから、ちょっと軽いノイローゼにかかっている気がする。
でも、オバマ大統領は景気を良くすると誓約した。　そんな大チャレンジできる人がいるなら、オバマ氏は頼りになるやつだと思う。だって、彼以外に誰が閣僚界と財界をみんな集めさせる力がある？誰もいないよ。
頼む、オバマ！
